Effective 1 January, Eckes AG is reconstituted as a straight financial holding company. All business operations are now conducted by Eckes & Stock
(spirits, wine and sparkling wine) and Eckes-Granini (fruit beverages). These two companies operate independently, each with its own management and supervisory boards. This is the last important step in the process of establishing the two former business divisions of Eckes AG as independent business entities.
Having successfully introduced PET bottles for fruit juice in Finland and Switzerland, production and bottling facilities for granini and hohes C are also converted from glass to PET in a step-by-step process in Germany as well.
