My career at Eckes-Granini…
began in October 2000. I served initially as a controller for foreign affiliates at corporate headquarters. In 2002 I was appointed to the Executive Board of the German national organization, where I was assigned responsibility for Finance, Controlling, Accounting and IT. After nearly six years in that capacity, I took on an entirely new set of duties and spent nine months acquiring experience in dealing with our trade partners in the Sales Department. I assumed my present position as Managing Director Business Unit Export in late 2008.
What makes Eckes-Granini so attractive as an employer is the fact that…
people here are not bound by rigid, inflexible structures. In spite of the many guidelines and rules that apply to normal, day-to-day work, one always has opportunities to contribute one’s own suggestions. We have a very open discussion culture. I also appreciate the international character that is deliberately nurtured in our organization. Even though we are not a large group, things are always in flux at Eckes-Granini – with new markets, new focuses, and new colleagues as well.
I personally enjoy working at Eckes-Granini …
because I found it tremendously enriching to have the opportunity to move over to an entirely new field of activity after several years in Controlling. I find the opportunities for change – not only in my own personal career – especially appealing. Being able to exert an influence on markets and processes and to talk openly with colleagues about the process is truly exciting.
