Getting started with start-ups

Eckes-Granini in Hungary works with start-ups to develop technological solutions for agricultural challenges.

SIÓ-Eckes, the Eckes-Granini subsidiary in Hungary, is participating in an innovation project of the National Agricultural Chamber. The so-called TechLab brings together start-ups from various technology fields with agricultural companies to solve their challenges.

SIÓ-Eckes is using this platform to promote the out-of-the-box thinking of the start-ups in order to make Hungarian peach cultivation more sustainable and to provide farmers with technological solutions or help them develop business models. „We aim to support the Hungarian agriculture and be there as partners for our fruit farmers with innovative, sustainable solutions”, says Ágnes Kovács, Managing Director of SIÓ-Eckes.

The project runs from September to November.
