"Particularly as a manufacturing company that also imports natural raw materials from emerging economies, we are aware of our great responsibility not to exploit our resources but to ensure that present and future generations can live in health and prosperity on this planet," said Dr. Kay Fischer, General Manager of Eckes-Granini Germany, proudly after receiving the award.
Eckes-Granini Germany received particularly praise in the environment category which includes the reduction of CO2 emissions and pesticides. Eckes-Granini's German sites have already been completely climate-neutral since 2019. The German company's future sustainability goals include using at least 50 percent recycled PET and reducing sugar by another 10 percent by 2025. By 2030, Eckes-Granini Germany wants to offer only juices and purees that are 100 percent sustainable. Goals that we as the Eckes-Granini Group also strongly support!
