Eckes-Granini joins Kloster Kitchen

Eckes-Granini Group GmbH, acquires a minority stake in ginger-shot start-up Curameo AG and its brand Kloster Kitchen

Eckes-Granini acquires a minority stake of 49 percent in Curameo AG, the pioneer of the new organic power drink category.

The brand Kloster Kitchen produces ginger shots with real ginger pieces in organic quality and is now the market leader in the German shot segment. Since the company was founded, Kloster Kitchen has been able to record strong growth in e-commerce in particular, in addition to over-the-counter retail.

Kloster Kitchen will continue to operate independently and autonomously in the market. Founder and CEO Mario Fürst will continue to be responsible for the start-up's strategy and operations. There are also no plans for organizational changes.
