One of the elements outlined in this policy statement is the goal of offering 100-percent sustainable juices by the year 2030. An important step in support of that goal: The purchasing department of Eckes-Granini Group works with its suppliers worldwide to ensure that as many raw materials as possible used by Eckes-Granini come from sustainable agriculture. This includes evaluating the sustainability standards applied at all steps in the procurement chain. Purchasing also strives to ensure that the raw materials can be reliably traced to their origins.
Further goals are the use of sustainable packaging materials and the comprehensive examination of our suppliers by independent institutions such as Ecovadis and SGF. Overall, we want to reduce our ecological footprint along the supply chains and use sustainable raw materials and packaging materials in our products wherever possible.
