Sustainability Day 2026

One shared direction. Many local experiences.

In 2026, colleagues across Eckes-Granini came together to learn more about our sustainability approach and explore topics relevant to their local context. Combining a shared sustainability update with activities developed by local teams, the Sustainability Days created opportunities for learning, exchange and participation.

Austria

Running for a cause

In Austria, the Sustainability Day combined physical activity, employee participation and fundraising for MOKI, an organisation providing mobile paediatric care.

Colleagues took part in running activities and a bottle-return initiative, with the proceeds supporting MOKI. On-site activities complemented the programme and created different opportunities for employees to participate.

Denmark

Understanding sustainability across the value chain

In Denmark, employees explored sustainability through the lens of the Eckes-Granini value chain. Interactive displays, practical examples and discussions with the local sustainability team connected the Group’s sustainability approach with everyday operations.

The programme covered topics such as packaging materials, waste management and recycling. A guided visit to the newly installed solar panels also provided insights into local renewable energy investments. The format connected strategic topics with practical examples from the Ringe site.

Germany

Exploring why biodiversity matters to our business

In Germany, the Sustainability Day focused on biodiversity and its relevance to Eckes-Granini. Expert talks explored the connections between climate change, healthy ecosystems, agricultural raw materials and long-term business resilience.

At a winery in Nierstein, colleagues combined expert input with practical activities. The programme included workshops, insights into environmentally oriented viticulture and the joint construction of an insect hotel for the Eckes-Granini campus. Together, these formats made biodiversity more tangible and connected the topic with our business and regional context.
