Team Rynkeby

Riding together for children with critical illnesses and their families.

Team Rynkeby brings together cyclists, volunteers, schools and sponsors across Europe to raise funds for children with critical illnesses and their families.

The initiative is independently managed by the Team Rynkeby Foundation. Eckes-Granini has supported Team Rynkeby as its main sponsor since 2016. For us, this long-term partnership is about standing behind people who dedicate their time, energy and commitment to a shared cause.

Why Team Rynkeby matters to us

Team Rynkeby is built on people who dedicate their time, energy and commitment to a shared cause. Participants raise funds and cycle to Paris, supported by volunteers, schools, local partners and sponsors.

This personal commitment is why Team Rynkeby matters to Eckes-Granini. It brings people together across countries and generations and reflects the teamwork and perseverance that also shape how we work together at Eckes-Granini. Many colleagues contribute as cyclists, volunteers or supporters. The initiative also has a longstanding connection to the Eckes family, with individual family members actively participating.

Our international brands support Team Rynkeby in their markets, helping the initiative reach more people and countries. Some brands also join selected activities and provide products for cyclists and support teams.

As main sponsor, we help provide continuity and visibility while respecting the initiative’s independence. Team Rynkeby is managed by the Team Rynkeby Foundation, which is responsible for its activities and cooperation with the organisations receiving the funds raised.

From a Danish idea to a European initiative

Team Rynkeby began in Denmark in 2002, when eleven colleagues from Rynkeby Foods set out to combine cycling and fundraising in support of children with critical illnesses.

When Rynkeby Foods became part of Eckes-Granini in 2016, Eckes-Granini became Team Rynkeby’s main sponsor. Today, teams in several European countries take part in the annual journey to Paris, while volunteers, schools and sponsors contribute through a wide range of activities.
