With JOKER athletes surpass themselves
With the crowdfunding program „Graines de Champions“ JOKER helps athletes to make their sporting dreams come true every year.
In the third year, Eckes-Granini France supports promising French athletes from Olympic disciplines to make their sporting goals come true with the brand JOKER, market leader in France. The crowdfunding program called „Graines de Champions“ has now started for the first three of a total of nine athletes to be sponsored in 2020. The young talents come from three different French regions and have already achieved impressive results in their disciplines:
Kerrian Malcoste is 16 years old and a young disabled top-level sportsman in athleticism. He is European Youth Champion about 100 meter. Marie-Divine Kouame, 17, is an avid track cyclist and World Champion about 500 meter time trial. And Capucine Marsaudon has already made a name for herself in windsurfing at the age of 18. All three are united by the desire to take part in the 2024 Olympics in Paris and perhaps even climb the podium.
The collected money is used according to the needs of each athlete: training, care, accommodation, travel or purchase of equipment. In short, everything necessary to perform and evolve towards new sporting objectives. Two years after the support of the very first project, JOKER has reached a more than positive overall assessment, both in terms of participation and in human terms: 19 projects have been funded until now and almost 42,000 Euro have been raised!
