Honoured: Eckes-Granini is awarded as "Company of the Future 2021”

Eckes-Granini Germany has been awarded "Company of the Future 2021” by the Rhineland-Palatinate Future Initiative (Zukunftsinitiative Rheinland-Pfalz ZIRP).

Eckes-Granini Deutschland GmbH (EGD) convinced the independent jury of the Rhineland-Palatinate Future Initiative with its application in all criteria for a digitally sustainable company. Prime minister of Rhineland-Palatinate President Malu Dreyer presented the prize to Tim Berger.

In the fifth edition of the sustainability award, ZIRP for the first time honoured a company that combines its digitalization strategy with the values of sustainability. EGD impressed the jury with innovative measures in its sustainability strategy, especially in the key areas of process optimization along the supply chain and innovative material and energy management.

Clear sustainability goals

The jury selected EGD as the winner from 17 applications submitted by companies and research institutions from all over Rhineland-Palatinate. Prime Minister of Rhineland-Palatinate Malu Dreyer presented the award in the ballroom of the State Chancellery in Mainz. In her speech, she praised the company's clear orientation towards sustainability goals. Tim Berger accepted the award on behalf of the entire Eckes-Granini Germany team.

The prize is unique and consists of a sculpture specially designed by the Institute for Artistic Ceramics and Glass (IKKG) at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences.
